The tool served everything i needed for my Cocos2d Project!! thx

I am exclusively using this to make fonts out of custom images handed to me by a designer... I want a narrow "," to have less air around it than a full width digit like "5" etc. It is possible to do something like that but it is hard as I have to select one character at a time, edit the xAdvance for it, then select the next one... Takes too much time! And this tool seems directed to taking an existing TTF font and creating a bitmap font out of that, more so than using existing images. For me a full blown bitmap font editor would be more useful.

It will be almost best software if it will support command line.

great tool, but broke backward compatibility. All our previous font files now dont work This is a real bummer, one of the last updates broke backward compatibility.

This is a fantastic app! Great timesaver for making fonts. I use nGUI in Unity3d and this generates fonts perfectly for it.. its easy to use and does what its supposed to. What more could you ask for?

This app has a nice UI and does what it’s supposed to, but it would be really nice to be able to output the .png image in a user-specified resolution, for example 2014x512.

THere is a bug that won’t let me publish-> when clicking ‘publish wizard’ and choosing any of the two ‘sprite builder’ options under ‘publish settings targets’, if you have a directory already entered, and you click publish, it shows the warning, asking if you want to replace the current settings, but when clicking yes, it does nothing. It just closes the popup. Otherwise a good app for $9.99, worth it for anyone who is thinking of getting glyph designer, its exactly the same functionality. :)

Urgent need to update. Add Character crashes when removing. Detect color changes. Saving does not work. Color with chosen colors do not match that I saved.

This is the kind of APP that "YOU HAVE TO BUY" if youre in to the DEV. Great coop with the author - and new improved sorting/atlas method!. Many thanks !!

not working extort to unity3d. crashed, when i try to open previously application save.

This is a good tool to develop games with various framework.. I think that the next main feature has to be command line integration that is very useful to use into XCode or other IDE target script for multiple resolution games..

Excellent software, I use it with UIToolkit + Unity 3D and its great. Excellent support from the author and fair price.

I was looking for a useful and not too expensive app for making bitmap fonts natively on OSX and I found this app! It works great, has many effects available and has a smooth UI. I like also how it saves sd and hd at the same time, which is a nice detail :).

This program works great. It has some excellent features including the ability to apply changes to only certain letters/numbers but noth others, the ability to texture a font with an image file, gradient on the stroke (new!), and more! This is a must have tool for all Cocos2D developers!

So far this tool has been nothing short of awesome for making bitmap font sheets for use in Unity. Id say that if I could get any features Id add some options for filters (like blurs) and the ability to import some of the output types (like an FNT) and have it recreate the settings as best it can (font family and size is really all I care about) just in case I forget to save the project. Regardless its still a great tool for any game developer. :)

My only problem with this app is that theres no pre-set strings for all the different character sets. I want to be able to set ISOLATIN etc. and have it just put the string in that has all the characters for that character set. I had to actually use a competitors demo to find the correct string with all the characters I need. If that feature is added, this gets 5 stars. Great app. Cheap, too!

From a developers point of view, I can accept a crash here and there but it crashed on me 3 times while doing 3 different things (Saving As…, Checking Gloss, modifying the glyphs). Other than that, it works great and the Auto-SD is very nice. Fix up the crashes and its 5 stars!

MY favorite part is the auto-SD, saves time when you want to test a lot of different fonts. Five stars great app!
